The use of light is essential to getting the shot you want and it’s important to understand all of the different ways light effects the way your digital camera captures information. This workshop is designed for photographers/creatives who want to learn and master new lighting techniques for digital capture. Attendees will be working with professional models and a makeup, hair, and styling team. Studio and location exercises will include how to use natural lighting, fill flash, strobe, lighting for accurate skin tones, color temperature, white balance, essential reflector techniques, designing backgrounds, etc. We will work with professional quality digital cameras and lighting equipment. We will also discuss production issues like digital workflow, image correction, printing, and archiving.
