This hands-on workshop specifically focuses on making great beauty, portrait, and fashion photographs. Specific lighting techniques will be demonstrated & experienced by each attendee for studio and location situations. Attendees will learn to work with a professional team of New York models, make-up artists, hair stylists, fashion designers and assistants. The objective of this course is to inspire and empower you to make great pictures and learn the art of communicating your vision. This is a comprehensive fun course!
The course will cover the creative and technical aspects of the digital photography workflow. Topics will include: calibration, color correction, digital retouching techniques, file formats, hardware and software setup, lighting techniques, resolution and output devices. It is essential to this course that we work specifically with digital capture so that students can grow and learn from immediate feedback from the creative team.
